The GatorCam4 system have been designed
to deliver controllable and high quality video
inspection for any situation, from residential work and
commercial use through to specialist plant and municipal
applications.
GatorCam4 Controller
The GatorCam4 controller introduces new
functionality and connectivity to the user, while
retaining the familiar look and feel of the controller.
The controller fully supports the popular USB flash
drive, providing truly portable data storage and a huge
range of capacity options.
The controllers ultra-bright 8 TFT
screen displays high-quality colour video and still
images, both of which can be recorded to memory with a
single key press. Live video, recordings and still
images can be rotated, panned and zoomed digitally to
focus in on problem areas.
A
waterproofed and ruggedized casing protects the system
against scuffs and impacts, and provides an IP53 ingress
protection rating when operating and IP55 with the
covers closed, minimizing the risk of damage from debris
or water ingress.

The GatorCam4 system offers two new
cameras equipped with high resolution sensors and the
latest generation ultra-bright white LEDs, which combine
to deliver a crisp, clear picture in most pipe
conditions.
Both cameras are constructed from 303
stainless steel and are designed to withstand 11 bar
pressure, equivalent to a depth of 100m (330) of water.
Both cameras are supplied with a manual
focus tool which allows the operator to adjust the focus
to the correct pipe size for optimum image clarity.
New controller interface
New on-board software has been developed
for the GatorCam4 controller to make the system easy and
intuitive to use. Set-up and customisation is very
simple thanks to the new colour-based list menus, which
clearly define all the options available and allow rapid
progression.
Up to 20 pages of text can be created at
any time by the user either for commentary within
surveys or for use as titles at the beginning of video
recordings.
A range of rods to suit any application
From 30m (100) for residential and small
commercial plumbing use right up to 150m (500) for
specialist applications.
Modular system configurations
All cameras, controllers, rods and
accessories are fully interchangeable (Plumbers system
sonde not detachable), giving users the flexibility to
expand their system as their requirements develop. A
range of sondes is available to enable tracing in
differing situations and a 512 or 640Hz sonde is built
into the GatorCam4 Plumbers system.
Sonde and locator packages
By combining a GatorCam4 system with a
sonde (included as standard within the GatorCam4
Plumbers system) and a RD7000DL+ locator, users can
pinpoint their cameras location and depth, providing a
valuable tool for repairs and pipe tracing alike.
The
RD7000DL+, capable of detecting 3 different sonde
frequencies and featuring Dynamic Overload Protection
and Compass, is specifically designed for the water
industry, and capable of precisely locating a sonde even
in electrically noisy areas. Combined with a powerful
TX-3 transmitter, the RD7000DL+ is capable of tracing
pipes and cables using induction, clamping or direct
connection signals. |
